How do we select our Caregivers?


We will bring to you reliable and friendly Caregivers who have a true passion for caring.  Most of our mature-minded Caregivers have real life experiences in caring for their own family or loved ones and feel that they would like to continue to help others.  They know how they can touch the lives of those who need support and caring.  Most importantly, we would never hire a Caregiver that we wouldn’t trust to care for our own loved ones.

Before we bring a Caregiver into our Company:

  • Personal references are contacted
  • Previous employers are contacted
  • Criminal background checks are completed
  • A personal interview is conducted
  • Department of Motor Vehicles record is checked
  • Social Security number verification

Once a Caregiver is brought on board to work with us, they must complete a series of DVDs and testing on subjects from Companion Homemaker Roles & Responsibilities to Early to Late Stage Alzheimers to Infection Control.  They will also be required to receive additional on-going training to increase their knowledge and self improvement as a Caregiver.
